After receiving his degree in Biology from the Universidad Veracruzana, Eduardo spent many years as a field biologist and coordinator for different projects including the use of landscape for birds in fragmented rainforest in south Veracruz, bird breeding and survivorship studies in cloud forests and coffee plantations in central Veracruz and pine-oak forest in southwest Arizona, raptor migration counts and banding in central Veracruz. From 2006 to date he has been the bird monitoring specialist for and coordinator of the Veracruz River of Raptors count and banding program, the spring passerine banding station and all other Pronatura Veracruz bird monitoring projects. In addition, since 2003 Eduardo has guided for Pronatura Tourism for Conservation program.
