The Mazatlan Bird Festival is proud to feature a collection of work by children of Mazatlan who study at the Casa Pacifica Art School in Mazatlan. Currently under the guidance of Mexican artist Liliana Bandin, generations of Mexican children have explored their creativity and expression using different media. Casa Pacifica students have been recognized and won many Mexican and  international awards in places as far away as Washington, D.C., Japan and Poland to name a few.

With this exhibit, Sendero Mexico, working with Casa Pacifica, seeks to instill curiosity and appreciation in the children of Mazatlan for the birds in the area. A sample of these works is featured in the slide show below.
